Many medical
objects are difficult to clean properly, and some do not get
cleaned at all. Ultrasonic cleaning is more effective than
alcohol based manual cleaning, and it's also environmentally
friendly.
Many NHS trusts and SHAs are promoting the use of ultrasonic
cleaning technologies as part of comprehensive infection
control. Hospitals in the NHS South Central region recommended
ultrasonic cleaning in their guidelines.
